MMG  was established January 1st, 2021, as a small fitness studio and outdoor basketball court to train a handful of youth athletes in the immediate area.  Griff’s was determined to provide a first-class elite athletic environment that was fun, friendly, upbeat, welcoming as well as challenging and results oriented.  The excitement and results-based training led to word-of-mouth promotion of its existence quickly spread within the community; within just a few weeks Griff’s reached its maximum capacity. Griff’s is currently looking to relocate to a larger location during the late summer of 2022.

 

Griff has 20 years of impeccable experience in the pre-planning, construction, management, and daily operations of $3-5 million and up to 40,000 square foot facilities. He led one of the leading Gold’s Gyms in the world. In addition, he has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. Furthermore, in 2021 he assisted and completed all the financial documents for his wife as she opened a successful fitness studio for women, also in Calvert County, called SWT Fitness.
